What is balanced?

balanced is a community of people who just get it.

We are here to be the best versions of ourselves, but we also just love to live life too. It's all about that balance.

 

balanced run community events at Mordialloc Beach, using breathwork, meditation and cold water exposure to bring people together.

 

Our balanced facilitators come from professional and academic backgrounds in sport, the trades and nutrition - united by the commitment and love for self-discovery and self-healing. 

 

We teach the science behind understanding the power of the breath, and hold that space for YOU to slow down and connect with yourself, to create that balance.

RESET, RECOVERY + WINTER REBOOT programs available

Join our community!

Our RESET, RECOVERY + WINTER REBOOT community sessions are designed for you to slow down and create some "me time", connect with the coolest people ever, and give YOU time to help create balance in your week.

 

We meet at Mordialloc Pier once a fortnight. Our next event is a WINTER REBOOT session, which includes a hot chai (or tea!) upon arrival along side some handmade treats, a connection piece to meet someone new in the community and guided breath work and meditation

 

Session timings:

8:50 - Hot Chai (and one of Julies treats!)

9 - Community Connection

9:25 - The science behind the breath

9:30 - Breathwork/Meditation

Meet Our Facilitators

Our facilitators are passionate about helping you connect with your breath and find balance. Get to know them and their unique stories; its not a one-size-fits all here and thats what we're about

Georgia Richardson

Georgia’s passion lies within the Health and Wellness area, which led her to heading back to university to study a Bachelors degree of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetic Medicine). Ultimately her goal is to be able to help assist others through their journey’s. 

 

Georgia’s own experiences through health challenges and mental health, have led her to becoming a breath work and meditation facilitator. A role that she is keen to take on and connect with the community. 

 

Georgia has completed her breathwork facilitator training with Cool2BeConcious.

Emily McKie

Your resident professional football coach with an undergraduate degree in sociology, and current studies in psychology, neuroscience + exercise physiology.

 

Em has been in the health and wellness space for the last 13 years facilitating mental health sessions at community sports clubs and incorporating mindfulness practices with her athletes and school students.

 

Em has completed her breathwork facilitator training with Cool2BeConcious.

Harvey Sirianni

When not facilitating breathwork and meditation sessions you'll find Harvey on the tools building houses and all-round just living it up.

Harveys experiences with breathwork, cold exposure and community has been nothing short of a miracle in the impact it has had on his life and he cannot wait to help you find ways to bring balance and community into your life.
